Remote Access Capability
Modular rigs that break down into certified longline loads under 2,000 lb — flown in, assembled, and cutting core within hours of touchdown.
Ridgelines, alpine cirques, roadless claims. If a helicopter can hover over it, we can drill it — no cut lines, minimal footprint.
Crew, rig, and support equipment staged and moving within 72 hours of contract award, anywhere in Western Canada and the territories.
Services
Surface diamond coring to 2,400 m with industry-leading recovery rates. Oriented core, directional drilling, and deep-hole capability on every rig.
In-situ testing, instrumentation installation, and rock mass characterization for dams, mine infrastructure, and civil foundations.
Grassroots to resource-definition programs. Tight-grid infill, multi-rig deployments, and full core-handling support on site.
Fast-cycle wireline systems minimizing trip time on deep holes. Consistent core quality with reduced deviation and downtime.
Fleet
Our alpine workhorse — flies in eight longline loads.
Deep-hole heli rig for resource-definition programs.
Deepest-capacity rig in the fleet. Self-mobilizing on soft ground.
Fast-moving infill rig for tight-grid exploration.
Compact geotechnical unit for constrained sites.
Instrumentation and shallow coring specialist.
Built by Brothers
Brisco Drilling is owned and operated by two brothers who still run rigs, fly programs, and answer their own phones. Every contract is signed by someone who will stand on the drill pad. No layers of management, no red tape — decisions get made in hours, not weeks, and accountability has a first name.
Selected Work
Heli-access alpine — Gold–copper exploration
Two heli-portable rigs on a roadless porphyry target. 41 holes, zero weather standby losses across a full alpine season.
Remote fly camp — Base metals
Deepest hole of the season for our client — oriented NQ core to target with under 2% deviation.
Road access — Geotechnical / mining
Pit-wall stability drilling with piezometer and inclinometer installs on an operating mine schedule. No production interruptions.
Safety & Certifications
Our safety management system is audited annually and aligned to provincial OH&S requirements in BC, Alberta, Yukon, and NWT. Full documentation available to clients on request.

Client Record
Brisco recovered core through a fault zone two other contractors walked away from. Recovery on the structural interval was above 96% — that data made the resource model.
The mobilization was the fastest I've seen in twenty years. Rig turning within four days of award, on a site with no road within 30 kilometers.
One of the owners was on the pad for the entire geotechnical program. When we needed a scope change approved, it took a conversation, not a committee.
